The Promot-ZM’s machining division is equipped with CNC lathes and CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers. The production process has been especially designed for high volume production. This is achieved using 21 working stations. The quality machines are produced by: SW, CHIRON, DMG or OKUMA.
The lathes can turn elements to a length of 1000mm. The maximum dimension of the turned parts is 300mm. Some of the machines are equipped also with live tooling.
The latest 3- and 4- and 5- axis vertical and horizontal machining centers allow precise milling, drilling, and threading of the parts with the maximum dimensions of : 700mm x 350 mm x 300mm. In order to increase process efficiency the multi spindle machines are used for high volumes production.
High volumes production stations are robotized.
The machine park is designed for machine not only carbon and stainless steel forgings, but also iron and aluminum castings. The lathes are equipped with bar feeders to allow quick the turning of small element directly form the raw steel bar.
The cutting tools are carefully selected and designed for each process to ensure highest efficiency and quality of the parts.
The machining process development is performed using the supporting production software (CAM).
